Come join our five to six hours of tough hiking onto Changyucheng Section of the Great Wall in Yanqing County and border to Hebei , which boasts to have one of Beijing' s highest Great Wall towers and fantastic views!

Our bus first arrive at the Changyucheng Village, walk briefly in the village to see the old damaged gate tower and opera stage. Then we walk to near a small and begin our climbing. We follow a paved path up to a boundary tablet for Hebei-Beijing. We will have a lunch break and then continue up on the ridge and mount on the top of the first tower, 1,440m above sea level (our starting height is around 800m). It provides a panorama view of mountains & towers on one side and Changyucheng Village on the other. Different seasons provide different views: full blossom if we visit in spring; large meadow field with yellow grass in winter; and wild flowers in summer. And then we have our picnic lunch before descending.

Climbing conditions: some part of descending is slippery. We even have to slide.
