Join our CCC hiking tour to a scenic natural park and remote section of the Great Wall two hours outside of Beijing. In the morning for about two hours, we will embark for a hike on a remote and wild section of the Great Wall.  With some loose rocks, rough areas and occasional steep climbs, this remote section of the Great Wall affords breathtaking views of the mountains and China's countryside.



We will then have a traditional Chinese lunch at a local restaurant with the choice to try the local fish, rainbow trout, a specialty in this part of the countryside.  The restaurant has a stunning view of the Great Wall and affords some time to relax and rest. In the afternoon, we will leisurely hike along a mountain trail in the Shentangyu Park, a nature park often visited by the local Chinese and their families on the weekends for rest, play, and relaxation. This park holds scenic mountain views along a stream while families enjoy the fresh nuts, grilled corn, and dried fruits sold by the local farmers along the trail.
