This is a workshop to combine calligraphy and Chinese painting, the two most important art forms throughout Chinese history. The CCC's artist will teach you the typical traditional ink brush techniques and smooth strokes, and practice both calligraphy and painting. Chinese painting are greatly influenced by Chinese calligraphy. It is a must to learn calligraphy before trying the Chinese painting.

You don't have necessarily learnt Chinese calligraphy or painting before, just have to be enthusiastic and be willing to hold a brush. The supplies or the Four Treasures of the Study - the ink brush, ink, paper(made of rice & bamboo), and ink stone - are provided by us.

Where: China Culture Center, Chaoyang District, Beijing, China.
