Join us for an evening of music that will lift your spirit and broaden your mind. CCC has invited some veteran musicians from the China National Folk Music Orchestra and children players to perform selections of traditional Chinese music. They will introduce you to the melodies and instruments with stories illustrating their meaning to Chinese culture.
These artists will play some folk melodies using traditional instruments such as the Erhu, the Pippa, the Guzheng, sheng, xun and others less known but exotic in their own way. This is a wonderful opportunity to get a brief introduction to and appreciation of Chinese traditional music and its instruments.
